    • 1.8 Release: Containerized AGW docker build job enablement
    • Post 1.8 Release items:
      • Building and uploading dependent debian packages in magma artifactory on supported kernel versions (NXP supports 5.10 kernels)
      • srsRAN UE attach test addition in headless mode




  • Magma 1.8 release readiness:
    • Hosting ubuntu based Magma AGW docker images in magma artifactory.
    • Copying debian packages in JFrog for 1.8 Release
    • Update magma documentation / Release notes with steps to build and run containerized AGW on Arm with srsRAN tester.



  • Helm Chart for orc8r (Arm support ?)
  • Update on Bazel ARM readiness
  • Bazel consumes more memory while building AGW docker images ? – Cross compilation or compile different arm system ?

Embedded Magma:

Wirelesss: Testing Magma AGW on NXP i.MX8 and LS1043 for a 5G application. 5G test passed but docker services are slow on 2GB RAM / 4 core system.

Magma AGW on NXP LS based systems:

  1. Magma AGW services are coming up on HK6050 system. srsRAN test passed.
  2. Steps to apply GTP patch on OVS and building it on different kernel versions. Building OVS packages on different kernels and storing it in magma artifactory.

2. Invited Arm partners like Sercomm, Nexcom, Hawkeye to join this meeting. Timings have to be changed to accommodate them.

srsRAN test automation / Headless mode: Self hosted runner support through GHA/Firebase to hook up internal CI like how wavelabs have integrated the 5G internal CI. Arm partners are willing to contribute to CI.

Come up with a framework to quickly validate Magma AGW on Standalone Arm systems.
